Local Matters with Mione Goldspink
Bishop's Stortford needs more houses. Most of all, with house prices and rents high, it needs affordable and social housing. The new development must help to address the chronic shortfall of places to live for those who are less affluent and are on a shockingly long waiting list to be housed. But what is vitally important for all residents, both present and future, is that any new housing is sustainable and an asset to the town.

We plan to congregate in Barclay Park Car Park (off Cock Lane) 10.30 to 10.45 the event will begin at 11.00. If possible, please wear Lib Dem colours gold/orange/yellow are all acceptable.
Opposition councillors at County Hall have been shocked and angered to hear that Herts County Council are intending to extend the contracts of much-criticised highways contractors Ringway for a further five years.
The Brox Lib Dems will be meeting at Barclay Car Park (off of Cock Lane) at 10.30 am in preparation for the 11am March.
The Conservative-controlled Hertfordshire County Council Educational Psychologist team has fewer than half the required Psychologists.
