Improving safety for residents on Baas lane and surrounding streets

Baas Lane, and the surrounding streets, are narrow residential lanes. They are no place for heavy goods vehicles or speeding traffic, which put pedestrians, cyclists, children and drivers at risk.

Your county councillor, Cllr Wortley, has the powers and budget to act. This petition asks him to:

1. Request and support a 20mph zone from Hertfordshire County Council.
2. Use his Highways locality budget to fix and improve traffic calming on the lane.
3. Request and support a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) for an HGV weight limit.
